Blue Peaks Apartments offers studio rooms with or without a kitchen, one-bedroom motel units, and two-bedroom family units. Apartments feature designer kitchens, washer/dryer, and dining table. Two-bedroom apartments have two separate bedrooms, a queen bed and two single beds, a private bathroom, a kitchenette with hob, fridge, and microwave, and a lounge and dining area. Some apartments have DVD and CD players. All rooms are equipped with Sky TV and a smart TV, and provide complimentary Wi-Fi.

Blue Peaks Apartments is situated a short 5-minute walk from the waterfront and central business district. The local bus network, Orbus, runs buses regularly from Queenstown International Airport and stops opposite the motel. The location provides access to Lake Wakatipu and walking tracks. Ski field and airport transfers are located across the road.

Queenstown offers activities like bungy jumping, jet boating, rafting, and skydiving, which operate all year. The Skyline Gondola provides views and access to the Stratosfare Bar & Restaurant, function and conference facilities, and the Luge. Hikers and cyclists can use tracks through native NZ beech forests and access the Queenstown Bike Park. In spring and autumn, sample Pinot Noir and other varietals at local boutique wineries.

Blue Peaks Lodge offers free off-street parking for guests. Free bag storage and a hairdryer are provided in all rooms. There are full laundry facilities in the basement with token-operated machines and dryers. Guests can store small valuables in the reception safe during reception opening hours. For guest stays of 8 days and more, a linen and towel change is provided. Extra servicing can be requested.
